Photography has always been a passion of mine. My first ‘proper’ SLR camera – an East German (DDR) Practika – started me off back in the late 80’s when I was stationed in West Berlin Germany.
Most of my career life has been that of a soldier and later, a computer consultant. Becoming a photographer was something I could only dream about. It was just always a little out of reach…until now.
I’ve finally come to a point in my life where I’m able to pursue my love of photography and I want to be able to share it with all of you.
I love being able to capture fleeting moments in time that you can treasure over and over again. I love being in the moment and capturing those little candid moments that make a picture momentous. The people I photograph make this more than a job. Exploring the art in someone’s face, no matter how imperfect it may be, is a fascinating adventure in light, tones, position and color.
McAnally Photography has been set up to provide southwest Texas with a photographic service that doesn’t just take pictures…but creates artistic images that will tell the story of you.
